Azura announces strategic coaching partnership with Warwick Business School
January 2026 – Azura, an executive and non-executive search and advisory firm, is delighted to announce its partnership with Warwick Business School (WBS) to support the next generation of leaders and aspiring board directors through tailored individual non-executive and board readiness coaching.
Under the partnership, WBS Executive MBA students will have access to a series of one-to-one coaching sessions as part of their programme curriculum. Students can choose from an experienced pool of executive and non-executive coaches.
As part of WBS’s broader coaching provision, Lieke Bos and Karen Fox have been appointed to the WBS coaching team as non-executive coaches. In this capacity, they will provide targeted guidance to Executive MBA students on topics including:
-
Understanding board roles, responsibilities, and boardroom dynamics
-
Developing executive and boardroom presence
-
Exercising judgement, challenge, and independence in the boardroom
-
Building a pathway to the first non-executive appointment
-
Supporting transitions from executive leadership into non-executive and supervisory roles
-
Broadening commercial and strategic perspectives for global careers
“This is a fantastic opportunity to support talented Executive MBA candidates as they shape their board-ready careers,” said Lieke Bos, a University of Warwick alumna and Principal and Head of Advisory at Azura. “We look forward to helping the students deepen their understanding of non-executive leadership and navigate the transitions that lead to meaningful board impact.”
Karen Fox, Partner and Head of the Board Practice at Azura, added, “Working with Warwick Business School reinforces Azura’s commitment to supporting aspiring non-executive directors at a pivotal stage in their careers, and to encouraging inclusive pathways to board roles. I look forward to helping WBS’s Executive MBA students understand how boards appoint NEDs, what chairs and investors look for, and how to position themselves credibly for their first role.”
The partnership reflects a shared commitment between Azura and WBS to developing responsible, commercially astute leaders and expanding access to executive and non-executive insight for high potential professionals.
